This is my first Hip Hop Mix in some time. I wanted to grab some stuff that I'm really into as well as some older songs that mesh well with them. It's always a challenge for me to find "new" hip hop that I actually connect with so "diggin' in the crates" is usually necessary. The research I did to construct this did revitalize me a little bit though. There is still quite a bit of good stuff out there. You sometimes gotta sift through the shit to find it but it's there. Highlight for me are Boldy James, Casey Veggies and Curren$y who continues to impress me. I have a lot of tracks that didn't make the cut so expect another one soon.
